The ULaw Study Guarantee Study with confidence

We understand your ambition and we want you to be as successful as possible which is why we have put in place innovative measures to make sure you can start and continue your studies with us whatever happens in the future with the Coronavirus pandemic. Whether it be face-to-face at one of our campuses, online or streamed, we are committed to continuing with your studies whatever you choose to do. As well as achieving an overall QS 5 Star rating as an institution and for several categories, our online campus was awarded 5 stars for Online Learning meaning if you have to switch, you’re still receiving award-winning tuition respected by employers world-wide.

We focus on your safety, so you can focus on your studies

You have worked hard and you want to start your course at University. We want to assure you that your health and safety is our priority. Our aim is to make sure you can continue to enjoy your studies without any concerns. Government guidance is continually changing and we are following this closely. You can read and keep up with current guidance here.

These are some of the measures we have put in place at our ULaw UK campuses:

  • All students, staff, and visitors must wear face coverings at all times on campus out of respect for each other and to reduce transmission. When teaching, tutors wear transparent face coverings. Face coverings are available at reception or you can wear your own. There are exemptions covering the wearing of face coverings for medical reasons. There are circumstances where people are not expected to wear face coverings that we need to be mindful and respectful of. Reasons include but are not limited to those outlined here.
  • Enhanced cleaning throughout the campus using antiviral cleaning products.
  • Sanitiser stations throughout campuses.
  • Wipes and cleaning products available at touch points such as printers.
  • All occupied spaces are well ventilated.
  • COVID-19 rapid test facilities and home testing kits available.
  • Perspex screens to protect students and staff in key areas such as receptions, libraries and student services areas.

If Government guidance changes and means once again we have to close our campuses, please don’t worry. We have got that covered too.

Our Study Guarantee gives you the following reassurances:

  • If our campuses have to close, we will deliver our programmes via live streaming and we will provide you with all the support you would expect from our award-winning Employability Service, Library and Student Support. Your learning will reflect the face-to-face teaching experience and follow a similar delivery timetable.
  • We will keep you updated on any developments and when the campus re-opens you will be able to move back to face-to-face teaching.
  • If you cannot travel to our campuses because of health concerns or travel restrictions there will be an option for you to start your programme virtually and return to on campus study at a later date. Please see below to understand the correct route for you. This will depend on whether you require a Student Route visa or not.
  • We are also extending the period in which you can cancel your place and claim a refund on your acceptance deposit. For further details see Student Terms and Conditions

Live Streaming

You will have the option to start your programme via Live Streaming – now also available for international students.

We have been successfully delivering a continuation of our on campus programmes through live streaming delivery. Live streaming re-creates the feeling of the classroom but allows you to study virtually. Our online platform, Collaborate, combines pre-recorded materials and live workshops, alongside ongoing student support, wellbeing and our award winning Employability service.

This route is ideal when face-to-face study may not be appropriate and is intended as a temporary solution. It assumes you prefer to study the majority of your programme on campus.

For details, see our Information Pack and our FAQs. We have created a dedicated set of FAQs for international students who require a visa to study in the UK. If you are in this position we recommend you read both sets of FAQs.

CampuSwitch

If you’d rather start your programme as a dedicated online course, you will have the option to enrol on one of our online programmes and apply to switch to on campus study with CampuSwitch.

Here you will need to study at least the first semester on a dedicated online programme before switching to on campus study. You will need to apply for a CAS and Student Route visa to study in the UK and will need to meet all conditions.

For details, see our Information Pack.

Our programme consultants are happy to answer your questions. Contact us on +44 (0) 203 4354608 or via email: study@law.ac.uk

Dedicated online programme

Alternatively you can apply for one of our online programmes. We have a wide range of dedicated online courses which we have been offering for more than 10 years. Whether you are looking to study an undergraduate degree or one of our specialist Masters courses, our online courses are designed to provide you with the same experience as your on campus peers. We have designed our online programmes to deliver the same quality of teaching and learning experience as you would get on our campuses but with the convenience of being able to study when, where and how you want. You can also apply to switch between online and on campus study with CampuSwitch.

Full information on the terms and conditions can be found here. Please note, if you are joining our July 2021 intake and require a Student visa there is a different set of terms and conditions. They can be found here.
