The ULaw Study Guarantee Study with confidence

We are as ambitious as you are which is why we have put in place innovative measures to ensure you can start and continue your studies with us. Whether it be face to face at one of our campuses, online or streamed, we are committed to your studies, whatever you choose.

Our face to face courses have switched to streaming

The Government has asked all universities to move face to face teaching to online/streamed by 9 December. In order to facilitate the smooth transition to streamed teaching at our campuses, and to allow students to travel home for the holidays, we switched all teaching to streamed from 30 November. Our campuses remain open to provide access to testing, study spaces and delivery of some face to face assessments and PD courses.

We are planning to open our campuses in January in time for the start of new programmes and are paying close attention to government guidance. We will keep students updated on developments.

We focus on your safety, so you can focus on your studies

You’ve worked hard and are ready to start university. We want to reassure you that your health and safety is our priority. Our aim is to ensure that you can continue to enjoy your studies without any worries.

These are some of the measures we have implemented at our ULaw UK campuses:

  • When teaching, tutors wear protective visors and the use of face coverings is mandatory while on campus. Face coverings are available at reception or you can wear your own. There are exemptions to the wearing of face coverings for medical reasons. There are some circumstances where people are not expected to wear face coverings that we need to be mindful and respectful of. Reasons include, but are not limited to those outlined here.
  • Entry thermographic camera allowing us to do temperature checks on arrival in campus.
  • Social distancing, with clear markers on the floors.
  • Perspex screens in key areas such as receptions, the library and student services, to protect you and staff.
  • Sanitiser stations throughout the campus.
  • Enhanced cleaning throughout the campus using antiviral cleaning products.
  • Wipes and cleaning products available at touch points such as printers.
  • One way systems implemented, where possible.

If for any reason the Government guidance changes, which means we are unable to open our campuses, don’t worry, we've got that covered too.

Our guarantee gives you the following reassurances:

  • Should our campuses have to close, we will deliver our programmes via online streaming or blended learning options and we will provide you with all the support you would expect from our award-winning Employability Service, Library and Student Support. Your learning will reflect the face to face experience and follow a similar delivery timetable.
  • We will keep you updated on any developments and when the campus re-opens you will be able to move to face to face delivery.
  • If you cannot travel to the campus, due to health concerns or travel restrictions, you’ll be able to continue with online streaming.

Online streaming

We have been successfully delivering a continuation of our on campus programmes through online streaming delivery. Our online platform, Collaborate, combines pre-recorded materials and live workshops, alongside ongoing student support, wellbeing and our award winning employability service. This route is ideal when face to face study may not be appropriate.

Dedicated online programme

Alternatively you can apply for one of our online programmes. We have a wide range of dedicated online and blended learning courses which we have been offering for over 10 years. Whether you’re looking to study an undergraduate degree or one of our specialist Master’s courses, our online courses are designed to provide you with the same experience as your on campus peers. We have developed our online programmes to deliver the same quality of teaching and learning experience, but with the convenience of being able to study when, where and how you want. You can also switch between online and on campus study with CampuSwitch.
