The ULaw Study Guarantee Open in September

We are as ambitious as you are which is why we are putting in place innovative measures to ensure you can start your studies with us in September. We look forward to welcoming you and getting you started on the first step of your career.

We're focusing on your safety, so you can focus on your studies

You’ve worked hard and are ready to start university so you will be pleased to know that our ULaw UK campuses will be open from September. We can also reassure you that your health and safety is our priority. Our aim is to ensure that you can continue with and enjoy your studies without any worries.

These are some of the measures we are implementing at our ULaw UK campuses:

  • From 1 August, tutors when teaching will wear protective visors and elsewhere the use of face coverings will be mandatory whilst on campus. We will have these available at reception or you can wear your own. There will be exemptions to the wearing of face coverings for medical reasons. (There are some circumstances where people are not expected to wear face coverings that we need to mindful and respectful of. Reasons include, but are not limited to, the descriptors contained in this link.)
  • Entry thermographic camera allowing us to do temperature checks on arrival in campus
  • Social distancing with clear markers on the floors
  • Perspex screens in key areas to protect you and staff: receptions, library, student services. Our teaching staff will also wear visors
  • Sanitiser stations throughout the campus
  • Enhanced cleaning throughout the campus using antiviral cleaning products
  • Wipes and cleaning products available at touch points such as printers
  • One way systems implemented where possible

If for any reason Government guidance changes in the next few months which means we are unable to open our campuses, don’t worry, we've got that covered too.

Our guarantee gives you the following reassurances:

  • If your campus is not open in September, we will deliver our programmes via online streaming and we will provide you with all the support you would expect from our award-winning Employability Service, Library and Student Support. Your learning will reflect the face to face experience and follow a similar delivery timetable.
  • We will keep you updated on any developments and when the campus re-opens you will be able to move to face to face delivery.
  • Where we have a dedicated online or blended learning programme, you can opt in to these online modules for your first semester or term.
  • If you cannot travel to the campus, due to health concerns or travel restrictions, you’ll be able to continue with one of our online options.

For more details, see our FAQs. If you are an international student please also review our Tier 4 Student FAQs. Our programme consultants are still working and happy to answer any questions you may have. You can contact them on +44 (0) 203 4354608 or via email at: study@law.ac.uk

Online streaming

We have been successfully delivering a continuation of our on campus programmes through online streaming delivery. Our online platform, Collaborate, combines pre-recorded materials and live workshops, alongside ongoing student support, wellbeing and our award winning employability service. This route is ideal for students who would prefer to transfer to face to face teaching as soon as the campus is open.

Dedicated online programme

We have a wide range of dedicated online and blended learning courses which we have been offering for over 10 years. Whether you’re looking to study an undergraduate degree or one of our specialist Master’s courses, our online courses are designed to provide you with the same experience as your on campus peers. We have developed our online programmes to deliver the same quality of teaching and learning experience, but with the convenience of being able to study when, where and how you want.
