MSc Leadership and Human Resource Management

This business Master’s course will provide you with the in depth, specialist knowledge and understanding of the key aspects of international human resource management required for a successful career in today’s modern and dynamic work environment.

This business Master’s programme is developed with an emphasis on learning the most important industry concepts and is accredited by both The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and The Chartered Management Institute (CMI). This means that upon successful completion of your degree you will have the opportunity to apply for a CIPD certification and a CMI Level 7 Certificate in Strategic Management and Leadership.

You will learn from experienced business professionals in workshop-style classes to ensure you can benefit from greater interaction with your lecturer and network with fellow students.

NEW MSc Leadership and Human Resource Management with Professional Practice

This course is offered as a 2-year full-time business master’s programme. Sharing the first year of study with the 1-year MSc Leadership and Human Resource Management, the 2-year programme benefits from a second year of Professional Practice that is specifically aimed at fostering the employment opportunities of students.

Offering greater flexibility than a traditional Placement Year, our Professional Practice Year allows you to decide how to put your skills into practice. Choose between an academic dissertation, business plan, business or consultancy project, or a paid placement in industry, depending on the option that is best suited to your future career path. You will be assessed formally through a mix of individual assignments, group work and Dissertation/Project work.

Students will study for one year full-time or two years part-time, divided into three semesters of 13 weeks. Typically, full-time students will study 4 modules per semester and part-time students will study 2 modules per semester.
Students will also work on a CPD-accredited Professional Development Module throughout all 3 semesters.
