Real World Inspirational Speaker Series - Thinking About a Career in Banking?

Hear from Chris Miller, a lawyer and project manager at Deutsche Bank in Berlin, Germany, where he negotiates commercial contracts and coordinates projects relating to financial derivatives. Chris will discuss his career to date and provide an insight into what working in the banking sector is really like. Chris is a veteran of the US Army, having received the Purple Heart Medal among other awards following two combat tours in Baghdad, Iraq and continued to work as a civilian contractor for the US Government in the Middle East after leaving military service. He completed the Legal Practice Course (LPC) at the University of Law’s Chester, England campus, as well as an MA Intelligence & Strategic Studies and an MSc Management and Project Management at Aberystwyth University in Wales. He is a published author, having written articles on military and security issues for The Atlantic, The Guardian, and Small Wars Journal, among other publications.
