Fancy a change of scenery?  Want to experience life in a new city?

With CampuSwitch, you can start your degree at one campus and then move to another to continue and complete your studies*.  You can even move from an on campus to an online course, or vice versa.

Not only is CampuSwitch a great opportunity to study in a range of different campuses as you can move more than once, it also gives you the opportunity to balance work and study requirements if you need to make a change.

In addition to CampuSwitch, you can also change the degree you study with our CourseSwitch option. If you are interested in switching to ULaw from another university find out more about transfer options.

How to Switch

Start by discussing your plans with your Personal Tutor or Student Services, to make sure that you are aware of all your options and that a transfer is the best option for you. If you are looking to move from online to on campus, or vice versa, you will also need to have a discussion with the Programme Lead, who will have to approve the transfer.

There must be space on your chosen course in order to transfer.  On some courses you may be able to transfer at any time, in other cases you would transfer from the Spring or Autumn Semester, ensuring that you do not repeat any courses already taken.

You will need to complete a Switch Form available from Student Services.  *Terms and conditions apply.

Fees
  • There is no fee to change campus the first time, if you make a subsequent change an administrative fee of £100 will apply
Other Considerations
  • If you have adjustments to accommodate any specific physical/learning need which may be impacted by the transfer, please consult Disability Support Services before proceeding
Visa Requirements
  • If you are studying at the University on a Tier 4 Student visa, any request to transfer campus must be approved by the International Visa Office. Please write to visaoffice@law.ac.uk to discuss this further. Unfortunately, Tier 4 Students cannot transfer to an online course as we are now allowed to sponsor students on Tier 4 for online study under Home Office regulations.
