Our LLB (Hons) Law with Legal Innovation and Technology is a Qualifying Law Degree designed specifically for the fast-paced evolution of technology in the 21st century. Legal careers are going to look very different for the future, which is why this specialised course allows you to delve into the technological changes that the legal profession is experiencing now, and explore what the future may hold.

This course focuses on key legal topics combined with a variety of the aspects of cutting-edge legal technology that are shaping the future of the legal profession, including artificial intelligence, blockchain, psychology, process analysis and digital marketing.
Studying our law degree with the customised modules for legal technology allows you to develop a strong understanding of both currently legal practice and what the future may hold for the legal profession. The technology modules are designed to give you the opportunity to explore some of the most relevant aspects of current legal innovations, including the technologies that have already started to make waves in the legal sector. With this course, you can prepare to enter the legal profession of the future, building a strong understanding of the foreseen changes coming to the legal profession and knowing how best to adapt to them.

As with all our LLBs, this programme has a practical focus with the skills you need for your career embedded into the course. There is a high level of face-to-face tuition, with experienced tutors.
You can choose to take an additional Foundation Year before you start the Law with Legal Innovation and Technology degree. This introductory year focuses on developing an understanding of the legal sector and the key skills required to undertake the full-time three year course. The Foundation Year involves studying six modules to develop the necessary skills and introduce students to key concepts to enable progression onto our three year Law degrees.

At the end of each semester you’ll get a week for revision before two weeks of assessments.
