Join our thriving international student population at The University of Law, with over 120 different nationalities choosing to study their undergraduate and postgraduate courses with us.

We currently have a growing number of students from Canada studying our undergraduate and postgraduate courses and several of our degree courses include the option to study Canadian Law modules.

We are the UK’s longest-established specialist provider of legal education and training. Over 90% of our tutors are lawyers, ensuring you learn the skills you will need to succeed. This is just one of the reasons why we have been awarded TEF Gold for Teaching Excellence.

Whether your ambition is to work as a lawyer or in another industry, studying at The University of Law will ensure you’ll get the best possible start to your career.  We have an award-winning Pro Bono team giving you the opportunity to put your legal skills into practice by working on real cases while you’re studying, an expert Legal Careers Service and an alumni group of over 64,000.

I would definitely recommend The University of Law to other international students. The University has so much more to offer than just classes and the overall experience has been amazing. The administrative staff and the tutors were always very helpful and provided great support. I plan on going back to Canada, where I will apply to take the NCA (National Committee on Accreditation) exams and then begin to practice the law in Canada.

Estimated Living Costs

It is important to factor in living costs for living and studying in the UK and to help international students prepare and budget we recommend students to visit the international student calculator.
