Your application to us

We accept a wide range of both standard and non-standard qualifications, meaning applications to us are considered on an individual basis. To help us, ensure you include all qualifications and experience in your application regardless of when you obtained it.

If you have previously studied a qualification, or module(s) within a qualification which you believe may be considered for recognition of prior learning (RPL), please refer to our prior learning policy for further information. Our admissions team may contact you or the governing body where you studied/trained if they need more information.

Further details can be found on our webpages below:

If you have any questions regarding entry requirements please contact our admissions team at [email protected] who would be happy to offer advice.

Financial and Employability support

Visit the University’s scholarships and bursaries page for more information on our range of financial awards you may be eligible to apply for.

You can also access advice from the Money & Housing Advice Team about student finance and budgeting.

We offer a priority appointment with the Employability Service within six weeks of your course start date. You can also access this service before you start by contacting [email protected].

Wellbeing

Our dedicated Wellbeing teams are there to support you if you need advice or guidance.

We provide guaranteed appointments with the Wellbeing Service within the first month of your course start date, covering support with study skills, libraries and disability and inclusion.

Current students can contact the Wellbeing Team - simply complete our referral form selecting "Student Wellbeing" as your enquiry type for further information on our support.

If you are a prospective student and would like to speak to us before you apply, contact the Wellbeing team at your intended campus of study for further information on our support. You can email them at wellbeing-*your campus*@law.ac.uk. For example, if you are studying at Bristol email [email protected].

We understand your circumstances might change

If you care for a family member, whether consistently or periodically (e.g. when a parent or carer is deployed), we can offer additional support to help you succeed in your studies and manage your care responsibilities, including the opportunity to take a break in your studies.

We also have the option to study online and to change which campus you study at if you need geographical flexibility.
