Ticket Information

All confirmed eligible Graduands will be sent an email explaining how to book their Graduand and guest tickets via booking portal.

Tickets are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and places are subject to availability for both students and guests. Please note, tickets for both Graduands and guests may ‘sell-out’ prior to the closure of ticket sales.

When booking tickets, you are able to inform us of any access requirements. As all tickets are pre-allocated, if yours or your guests requirements are not detailed at the point of booking, we are unlikely to be able to accommodate late or on the day requests.

If you are unable to book online via the portal, please contact Graduation Attire via the live chat function, 01234 988880 or [email protected].

Tickets for graduating students are free-of-charge, however you will need to confirm your attendance by booking your seat via the booking portal. You will receive a confirmation email once processed.

Guest tickets are priced as follows:

Adults: £25pp
Children (2-17 years) £10pp

Babies not requiring their own seat are free-of-charge. Should you wish to bring an infant carrier into the hall, please note you will need to book a child ticket to ensure a seat is allocated with the rest of your booking as these cannot be placed on the floor. Pushchairs and buggies are not permitted in the hall, however can be left in the cloakroom free-of-charge.

Each Graduand will have the opportunity to purchase a maximum of four guest tickets in the first instance when the booking portal opens in August 2022.

Additional tickets may become available to purchase at a later date on a first-come, first-served basis. These tickets cannot be reserved and will not be released until the first ticketing window has closed. Students who have confirmed their attendance will receive an email notifying them of additional tickets if available.

You will be sent a confirmation of your booking via email. E-tickets for both Graduands and guests will then be sent out nearer to the event. Please bring a digital or paper copy of these with you on the day to be checked in via your tickets unique QR code. Please note, as a graduating student it is very important your Graduand ticket is checked in by the registration team on Level -1, otherwise your name will not be called to cross the stage.

If you are unable to attend your official graduation date and would like to postpone your attendance and transfer to another ceremony, please follow the steps outlined below.

Please send an email to [email protected] providing your full name, student ID, campus, award and contact details.

Subject to capacity and the the discretion of the Graduation Team, you will be added to the next graduation transfer list.

Please note, transfers will not automatically be actioned and any transfer request needs to be received within three months of the ceremony you were due to attend. Due to the backlog of graduyation ceremonies caused by the pandemic, 2022 Graduands will be transferred to the Spring 2023 ceremonies or the next available ceremony in 2023.

You are able to cancel your Graduand ticket by emailing [email protected] before the ticket booking deadline. Please note, we may not be able to refund you for any guest tickets, your gown hire or photography, but may be able to transfer all purchases to another ceremony date.

Refunds are only available during the ticketing window and no refunds will be actioned after this date. Specific cut-off dates can be found in your graduation emails. To request a refund, please contact Graduation Attire directly via the live chat function, calling on 01234 988880 or emailing [email protected]
