The BA (Hons) Business Management is an undergraduate degree that covers all key business disciplines. With the business world branching across so many exciting career subjects, this well-grounded and comprehensive course allows you to get a great start to realising your career aspirations. Covering a wide range of business areas, you can explore various avenues, choosing to specialise as the course proceeds if you find a specific subject you are interested in. Alternatively, you can keep your options open and graduate with an all-round degree to become a business management generalist.

Our Business Management degree is designed specially to allow you to develop the kind of effective managerial behaviour that is desired within many different organisations. Today’s changing business environment means that it’s vital to be able to bring more than just academic knowledge to a company. We want to make sure that you’ll gain the important knowledge and skills employers are looking for.
With our practical approach to teaching, you’ll also get to develop transferable skills such as research, presentation, critical analysis, problem solving, team work and entrepreneurship.
After graduating you’ll have a variety of career options available to you, including roles such as a management consultant, business analyst, operations manager, or an entrepreneur. If you would like to further your studies after graduating, you could consider studying a postgraduate MSc Strategic Business Management or a Master's in Business Administration (MBA).
This programme is accredited with a professionally-recognised Chartered Management Institute qualification. Upon graduation, you will also receive the CMI Level 5 Extended Diploma in Management and Leadership. You’ll automatically become a member of the CMI for the duration of your course and one year after, providing you with access to a wealth of resources and employability events.
You can also choose to take a Foundation Year before you start this degree. This introductory year focuses on developing an understanding of the business sector and the key skills required to undertake the BA (Hons) Business Management. The Foundation Year involves studying six modules to develop necessary skills and introduce you to key concepts to enable progression onto our three year Business degrees.
