We have a programme of activities and career support designed to help you at every step of the way towards a successful career.

  • Open days and employability events: Our careers experts will be available to offer that initial support and direction. Find an event near you.
  • Access our employability and career support: If you have a conditional or unconditional offer, you can access our employability support before you start your course with us.
  • Career Finder: Use our Career Finder to find out about different careers and what skills you need to succeed in each one.
  • Connect with our Employability team: Getting started couldn’t be simpler. All you need to do is email the employability services team at your campus (careers-*your campus*@law.ac.uk) e.g. if you are studying at Bristol then [email protected].
  • Gain employability skills: Employability is embedded into all our courses. You’ll develop a wide range of vital workplace skills including how to deal with challenging situations, how to manage and be managed, leadership skills….etc, learn how to run your own business, how to deal with challenging situations, and how to manage people.
  • Professional Development: Many of our master’s courses include a Professional Development module. You’ll develop skills and expertise that you can put into practice immediately, ensuring you get your career off to the best possible start.
  • Informative and inspirational events: You’ll be invited to a variety of events, including guest speakers, panel discussions, masterclasses and competitions. You’ll also have the opportunity to get involved in our Commercial Awareness Challenge.
  • Careers advice and support: Our team of careers consultants will help you identify the right career option for you, help you navigate recruitment processes, and equip you with the skills and insight to succeed as your career progresses. You’ll receive practical support through one-to-one careers appointments and group workshops, including how to present CVs and covering letters, and how to excel at video interviews.
