programmeProfessional Employability Programme
Our Professional Employability Programme is designed to explore the challenging aspects of the workplace and offer insights into why these arise, to help you plan how to overcome them.
Topics in this programme include managing your personal brand, making the most of your network and dealing with conflict. You can use this programme to support you from the very early stages of your career and throughout your time in the legal profession.
Our Work Ready Award
Our Work Ready Award is designed to recognise the hard work you put into developing your employability skills. Eligible students can turn their participation at a range of on campus events into points and earn Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards. You’ll also receive points for activities that take place off campus, including volunteering, part-time work and enhancing commercial and cultural awareness.
You’ll receive certificates to promote your achievements on LinkedIn and badges to wear proudly at graduation. Most importantly, you’ll be able to reflect on what you’ve achieved when it comes to job applications and interviews, increasing the likelihood of securing part-time jobs, vacation schemes, work placements and graduate roles.
