ULaw announces exclusive training partnership with leading south west law firm Stephens Scown

The University of Law (ULaw) has announced an exclusive partnership with Stephens Scown, a top law firm in the Exeter region. The partnership will see The University of Law become Stephens Scown’s exclusive provider of the Legal Practice Course (LPC) training, helping to nurture and support legal talent in the South West.

Stephens Scown is a leading firm in the South West, and is listed in The Lawyer’s Rising 50 Law Firms and The Lawyer’s Top 200.

The partnership with The University of Law will be delivered from The University of Exeter, where The University of Law has an existing collaboration, and will begin this year.

Peter Crisp, Pro Vice Chancellor – External at The University of Law, commented on the partnership: “Partnerships such as these are hugely important for us and our students, as we aim to provide the market-leading legal education we pride ourselves on to different regions across the country - helping nurture local legal talent.

“The service and the ethos that Stephens Scown provides very much reflects our own, and we are very excited to be working alongside them.”
