The Pro Vice-Chancellor of The University of Law Business School visits GISMA Business School Berlin campus to welcome new and returning ULBS students to the academic year 2021 2022

On Wednesday, 20 October 2021, Professor Marco Mongiello, Pro Vice-Chancellor of The University of Law Business School visited GISMA Business School Berlin Campus and welcomed new and returning students to the University postgraduate business programmes in collaboration with GISMA.

The event recognised the ongoing partnership between GISMA and The University of Law as academic partners; united with the objectives to provide top quality business education, to support business school students throughout their academic journey, and to guide them into their future career.

Joining a series of hybrid plenary sessions chaired by Kris Scendo-Kokot, The University of Law Business School International Programmes Director, Professor Marco Mongiello had the opportunity to address the wider student population as well as speak to individual students during a social event organised with the support of the GISMA Berlin Campus team.

In his speech during the social event, Professor Marco Mongiello emphasised the importance of leadership underpinned by competencies, skills and emotional intelligence needed to embrace the contemporary and rapidly changing business realm that has been irreversibly impacted by recent global developments.

Professor Marco Mongiello said: “I am absolutely delighted to see how much enthusiasm and positive energy ULBS students bring to GISMA, and how well organised and welcoming are GISMA colleagues with our students. This combination makes for a vibrant educational environment where students from all over the world pursue their professional ambitions. Helping students to realise their dreams is the best reward for us all, and I am thrilled to see this happening in Berlin.”

During the face-to-face social event, students were treated to lunch and refreshments in the GISMA Berlin Campus’ courtyard whilst engaging in networking activities with fellow students as well as with ULBS and GISMA colleagues, with members of the community excited to embark on the new academic year 2021/22.
