The University of Law partners with Themis Bar Review to offer New York Bar Exam course

The University of Law (ULaw) is to partner with Themis Bar Review to offer a special Themis Global Advantage programme, designed for ULaw students and alumni looking to sit the Uniform Bar Exam in New York.

The Themis Global Advantage programme has been developed specifically for non-US law graduates studying for the Uniform Bar Exam. The course helps candidates overcome time constraints and unfamiliarity with US standardised testing, providing students with the same foundation offered to US-educated candidates over three years of law school.

Themis is designed for both online and live classroom learning, with both approaches carefully leveraging the most current research on memory retention and comprehension. Everything needed to pass the bar exam, including lectures and practice questions, is available on-demand via desktop, phone, and tablet. Themis is the only US based bar preparation company to consistently publish their pass rates, providing clear evidence to prospective students of the success of their course.

Through this partnership, Themis will offer additional benefits to ULaw students and alumni enrolled in the Global Advantage programme, including an extended course schedule, an introductory course consultation with a New York attorney, live classroom or virtual sessions, and a discounted rate of $300 off Themis’s advertised US prices. Themis Bar Review’s unprecedented success preparing students for the New York bar exam makes it an excellent choice for non US trained attorneys who plan to practice in the United States.

Professor Andrea Nollent, Vice Chancellor and CEO at ULaw, said: “We are thrilled to be working with Themis Bar Review to offer our students and alumni the opportunity to enhance their careers and employability options.

“New York is a hub for international business, governmental organisations, and arbitration, among other areas. Passing the New York bar exam opens up an extensive range of opportunities for careers in a global legal landscape that is ever-changing.”

“We are incredibly excited about our partnership with ULaw,” says Themis COO Richard Douglas. “The University of Law is renowned for its commitment to innovation and the passionate support of their students. Themis is particularly proud to offer ULaw students a high quality, content-rich course at less than half the cost of other bar prep courses. We look forward to launching our live bar prep course with the University in Fall 2020 and are extremely grateful for the opportunity to serve ULaw students.”
