What is your favourite memory from your time with us?

Meeting fellow classmates from different places and walks of life! A lot of friends I keep in touch with and have kept up to date with their professional journeys.

What has been the best development in your field since you qualified?

I think electronic signatures has been a great development. I remember a time when contracts could only be signed in hardcopy, this could take a long time and made many projects quite slow moving.

What advice would you give to someone starting the course you studied?

Research as much as you can for the roles and/or organisations you're interested in. Keep adding to your CV, even if it is not legal work experience. Last but not least, consider roles In-House, it is the fastest growing section of the legal profession!

How did your course prepare you for your career?

The variety of modules and the mix between traditional course structures and advocacy allowed me to understand how broad a legal career could be. My course was a fundamental foundation for my career which allowed me to be ready for the next step.

Tell us something people may be surprised to know about you…

At one point in my career I was quite close to joining the British Army. I had passed my face to face interview at Army Headquarters and was preparing for my fitness test!
