We Support Your Ambition: An interview with Manasvi Vichare

Alumna Manasvi Vichare joined us to study the MSc Business Intelligence Analytics in 2021 at GISMA Business School in Berlin. We caught up with Manasvi to discuss her experience studying a ULaw Business School course at GISMA in Berlin and how she plans to use it to progress her career.

I chose to study a ULaw Business School course because I wanted to pursue a masters in analytics, and they offered one in Business Intelligence and Analytics. I also found the course structure impressive and interesting.

GISMA has a great management team that takes care of student issues and helps them to grow during their studies. My favourite thing about studying with ULaw at GISMA was the flexibility in the ways you could study.

My ambition is to have a career in data analytics. I am currently carrying out an internship as a clinical data analyst and want to have a successful career in the same field.

I had so many dreams related to my career, but due to unavoidable circumstances, I was unable to grow in my career as I had hoped. I worked for a cooperative bank for 12 years and my ambition was to get promoted to a higher position, but it was not possible due to family restrictions and responsibilities. I decided to study for a masters, and ULaw at GISMA gave me a chance to fulfil that dream. Hopefully, this can be the path for me to achieve my future goals. I dream of progressing in the data analytics field and will put all my efforts into this over the next five years.

I love statistics and wanted to gain more knowledge of the subject. My internship in data analytics and the MSc in Business Analytics have put me on the right path.

All the tutors at GISMA were excellent, and I gained a lot of knowledge related to my studies. I highly respect ULaw Programme Director Kris Scendo Kokot, who was the main reason I continued my Masters. I initially had some issues with my studies, but they were handled carefully and with a positive approach by Kris, which inspired me to continue. He is an excellent guide, taking care of all student issues personally. He is dedicated to his job; I learnt a lot from him. I want to thank him for the support given during my studies, he is an excellent person.

The content of the course is well designed to cover areas required in the current job market. All analytical skills are covered to prepare you for real-world positions. It's excellent.

I gained a lot of knowledge from my studies and the professional development sessions were very helpful in preparing me for professional life. At the same time, some of the concepts can be implemented in my personal life too.

My advice to new ULaw students is to concentrate on their studies. The course is designed to meet market demand and will prepare them for chosen careers if followed properly.
