Applying to us through Clearing
To apply for any of our courses through Clearing, the first thing you'll need to do is call us on 0800 009 3375 to secure a Clearing offer.
Don't be nervous - you can find out what to expect by watching the videos on our Clearing phone call page.
If your Clearing advisor offers you a place on one of our courses and you would like to accept it, there are a few important steps you need to take to secure that place with us.
We recommend you do these as soon as possible so we can process your application and complete our admissions and qualifications verification checks in good time.
Your Clearing application must be submitted to us via the UCAS Hub by the last application date for your course. These dates are listed in our application and enrolment deadlines.
Accepting your offer
Step 1 - Submit your application
Once you have received an offer to study one of our courses, you will need to submit your Clearing application to us through UCAS.
If you've already registered on the UCAS system:
- Go to the 'Your choices' section of your application
- Click 'Add Clearing choice'
- Select The University of Law (HEI code L17)
- Enter the UCAS course and campus code
- Submit your application
If you have not yet registered on the UCAS system, you will need to complete a new application on UCAS and then complete the steps above.
Step 2 - Check our T&Cs
We want to make sure you're aware of our expectations as a University, so we encourage you to read our undergraduate terms & conditions. Pay particular attention to the programme schedules, the sections about fee liability and cancellation deadlines so you are fully informed.
These T&Cs come into effect as soon as you accept your place.
Step 3 - Accept your offer
If you're happy with your offer and your decision to study with us, it's time to accept your place. This is a big decision so think it through - but remember that Clearing operates on a first-come, first-served basis with limited places, so don't wait too long to confirm.
If you're having any problems, call our Clearing Hotline on 0800 009 3375 or (+44) (0) 1483 216024.
