UKVI Student Compliance
The University has a dedicated department called UKVI Student Compliance (USC), which comprises of the English Language Assessment, Visa Quality & Compliance and Visa Compliance teams.
The English Language Assessment team is responsible for the University’s English Language Policy and the assessment of international students’ level of English.
The Visa Quality & Compliance team is responsible for ensuring that ensuring the University is appropriately prepared for any institutional audit by the Home Office as well as operating a system for auditing immigration related services including the management of Right to Study and post enrolment checks for all students subject to immigration control.
The Visa Compliance team is responsible for ensuring the University retains its Home Office Licence, complies with our mandatory duties as a Student Sponsorand assesses incoming and returning students' eligibility for CAS..
