Real World Lecture: Will Stop & Search Polarise Society?

Students will enhance their learning in Criminology, Policing and Law topics as well as their understanding of the importance of the professions in the criminal justice system. This session will focus on bias and stereotyping within the system and the effectiveness of the expansion of stop and search policies in the UK. Our Real World Lectures are aimed at students currently in years 12 and 13, to give greater depth to their current study and give an insight into studying at degree level. Students, parents/carers and teachers are all welcome.
