More and more law firms are looking for tangible impact from embedding ESG into their company strategy. Navigating both the internal opportunities and challenges, as well as knowing how best to assist clients with their own ESG programmes, is a growing need throughout law practice.
To support those responsible for delivering ESG development, the Business School at the University of Law in partnership with University College London will explore how law firms should approach effective ESG strategy and action.

Key Speakers:
David Stead: David is a Visiting Lecturer on ESG for The University of Law and writes for various journals including Impact Entrepreneur and Philanthropy Impact. He is a regular speaker, lecturer and awards judge in the ESG/impact space. David is a Non-Executive Director (NED) at The Biodiversity Consultancy, a global consultancy advising companies on Nature impact, and at Tees Law, a fast growing regional law firm, where he has a special ESG focus. He is Chair of the Creative Commerce Board for CATS Global Schools and is on the Advisory/Trustee Boards of Maanch (Impact Management), The University of Surrey Business School, The Royal Commonwealth Society, and the IESE Foundation.
Sunny Lee: Sunny Lee is the Deputy Director of EDI and an Associate Professor of Organizational Behaviour at UCL School of Management. She holds an M.P.P degree from the University of Chicago and a PhD in Organisational Behaviour from the London Business School. Prior to her academic career, Dr. Lee worked as a business analyst and consultant at Accenture, Hewlett Packard, E&Y Parthenon Consulting, and LG.
Paolo Taticchi: Paolo Taticchi is Professor in Strategy and Sustainability and School Deputy Director at UCL School of Management. Highly active in Executive Education, Paolo has trained thousands of managers and executives of Fortune Global 500 companies. Paolo’s research is internationally recognised. Paolo has also significant consultancy experience in the fields of strategy, education, and sustainability. In 2021-23, Paolo was recognised by Italian’s leading business daily Sole 24 Ore as the most influential Italian under the age of 40.
Adam Kingl: Adam Kingl is an Adjunct Lecturer in the UCL School of Management’s Strategy & Entrepreneurship group. He is an expert on the future of business; his books are Next Generation Leadership in 2020 and Sparking Success in 2023. Adam thinks deeply and practically about how companies can innovate in order to be prepared for the fundamental paradigm shifts they will face.
Elizabeth R. Moore (Discussion chair): Elizabeth Moore is Head of Leadership at The University of Law Business School, where she has taught and designed leadership programmes and has led a leadership coaching programme since 2019. Since receiving her PhD in Cultural Studies, Elizabeth has taught at universities in the United States, Finland, Russia, and the U.K. While lecturing at the University of Cambridge over 16 years, Elizabeth also received a degree in leadership coaching at Cambridge in 2017, where she coached MBA students at the Judge Business School. Elizabeth has held Visiting Fellowships at Harvard University and St. Petersburg State University (Russia) and is currently a By-Fellow at Hughes Hall, Cambridge University. Over the past decade, Elizabeth has specialised in Leadership Development, both as an academic and as a leadership coach, and has worked with an array of individuals and organisations across the public and private sectors.
