Over 90% of our law lecturers at The University of Law are qualified solicitors, barristers and judges, ensuring you learn the practical legal skills most relevant to employers.
A law degree opens doors to a diverse and exciting range of legal careers - from barristers and solicitors to paralegals, high court judges and company secretaries. A law degree is a strong foundation for many other career paths too, including politics, journalism, business, HR and finance, plus many more.
You can tailor your studies through one of three pathways:
- SQE/CILEX - for aspiring solicitors or CILEX lawyers.
- Business - for those aiming to work with commercial clients, as an in-house lawyer or in a commercial career outside law.
- Individual - for those interested in criminal justice, individual client work or qualifying as a barrister.
Foundation Year (Four year)
You can also choose to take an additional Foundation Year focused on developing the key skills required to study at degree level. Study on campus or in our flexible Blended format, with online lectures and just one day a week on campus for workshops and support.
