We have reserved accommodation for our students with some of the UK’s leading student accommodation providers, who pride themselves in ensuring you have a safe, comfortable place to live while you’re studying at The University of Law. Not only that, but by staying in University-nominated accommodation you’ll get to meet students studying at universities across the city, as well as live with your fellow LLB students.
We guarantee an offer of accommodation to all first year LLB students who have accepted their offer of a place and have made us their firm choice. You must normally confirm that you want accommodation by the 31 March of the year you're looking to start your LLB. Please note that all arrangements and the entire contract for your accommodation is between you and the nominated accommodation provider. If you apply after this date we will still provide support to help you find suitable accommodation.
Accommodation is usually in shared flats or, in some cases, self-contained studios. Flats are usually shared with three, four or five other University of Law LLB students. Typically you’ll have a shared kitchen/dining room, including fridge-freezer, oven, hob, dishwasher, kettle and microwave. Usually there’s a separate shared lounge area with comfy sofas and TV, some with inclusive Sky satellite channels. You’ll have your own fully furnished bedroom, which will typically include a large desk area and an en-suite bathroom.
On-site laundries are available at most locations, and on-site gyms at some. 24-hour security is taken extremely seriously at all our accommodation sites. Door entry and intercom systems restrict access and CCTV surveillance gives added protection. Most accommodation sites have dedicated accommodation management staff available onsite to help you. For further assistance, some centres have student wardens, usually second-year students who are happy to provide extra support, especially if you’re living away from home for the first time.
Representatives from our nominated accommodation providers will usually be available for you to speak to at our open days, where you’ll be able to get more information about living in student accommodation. Book your open day now to find out more.
