NEW FOR SEPTEMBER 2019: NOTTINGHAM CAMPUS
At The University of Law, we believe our undergraduate students should understand how the law, business, criminology and policing are applied in a real-world context, as well as being challenged academically.
We have always been confident in our teaching and the results we consistently achieve for our students.
In addition, the University is ranked in the top 10 for student satisfaction in the 2018 National Student Survey and 92% of full-time UK LLB students graduating in 2017 secured employment or further study within six months of successfully completing their course.
We prepare you for a professional career from day one with a wide range of study options to meet your needs, from degrees with optional foundation years to online and accelerated programmes.
As we specialise in teaching, with a focus on problem solving and weighing up arguments, you’ll develop a formidable range of essential skills that can make all the difference when starting your career.
Driven by innovative teaching we are constantly expanding our range of courses to meet the needs of students and employers, ensuring you gain the skills employers demand. All of our LLB (Hons) Law degrees, for example, are Qualifying Law Degrees, which means they are recognised by the Bar Standards Board (which regulates barristers and specialised legal services businesses in English and Wales) and the Solicitors Regulation Authority (which regulates solicitors of England and Wales) for the purpose of exemption from the academic stage of their professional examinations.
We also offer a range of online and on campus courses so that you can match your degree course to suit your personal circumstances. Offering you greater flexibility to make your degree plans a reality.

Our four year degrees include an introductory Foundation Year before you progress on to study your three year degree. This Foundation Year focuses on your understanding key concepts and skills to enable you to study at degree level.
International Leadership Summer School
As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting your ambitions, we are offering our 2019 undergraduate students the opportunity to attend our International Leadership Summer School in Berlin. This week will focus on developing employability skills and give you the opportunity to explore this exciting city with your fellow ULaw students.
ONLINE DEGREE OPTIONS
As an apprentice you will work for a commercial organisation and complete an LLB (Hons) Legal Practice & Skills course over six years. On successful completion students who meet the suitability requirements can apply to the SRA to be admitted as a Solicitor and will not be required to undertake a separate training contract.
