Some Frequently Asked Questions

 

Q: Is there a charge?

A: No. It’s a free service to all recruiters. 

 

Q: Who has access to vacancies posted and can I see my vacancy?

A: Vacancies can be seen by all current student from all our centres, as well as alumni and students about to start at the University. To see your vacancy you would need to register as a recruiter using the above link as the site is password protected for our students and alumni.

 

Q: Why do you need my date of birth when I register?

A: We use your date of birth along with your first name, last name and email address to avoid duplication of records. The date of birth is not used for any purpose other than to assist in data maintenance. If you are a recruiter using this system to advertise vacancies and do not wish to provide your date of birth, or you are creating a general account for your organisation, please enter 01/01/1981.

 

Q: Why do we ask for your contact telephone number?

A: We would only use your phone number if there was a problem with your registration and we could not contact you via email.

 

Q: How do I register?

A: The registration process is straightforward, but you can find more information in our handout which covers registering on the JobSearch database
