Virtual Twilight Lecture- How do the police deal with critical incidents?- Undergraduate Degrees

This lecture will examine what the Police (and other Emergency) services categorise as critical incidents and how they respond to them through the initial management of an unfolding incident to the restoration of public confidence. Reference will be made to well known cases and some where the tutor, former Director of Intelligence, was personally involved. These virtual lectures will be run live. They are aimed at students who are currently studying Public Services, Law or Criminology, and any students who may be interested in studying Policing at university in the future and/or pursuing a career in the profession.
