Once your place on one of our Law, Criminology, Policing or Business degrees has been confirmed, there are a number of things you will need to do. We'll also email you with important information about tuition fees and your joining instructions.
Here's a checklist of what you need to do next.
Let Student Finance Know You're Coming to the University of Law
If you've already applied to Student Finance you'll need to let them know that your institution and course has changed. This is very important as it could affect what you're entitled to. Full-time students can make changes to their course or university details online through Student Finance England.
To make a change, log in to your online account then navigate through: My Account > Make changes to my application > Change your course.
Please note that part-time and postgraduate students will need to send a form.
Still to Apply for Finance?
If you haven’t yet applied for student finance, you'll need to apply right away. You can apply online through Student Finance.
Student Finance will do their best to make sure you get some of your finance as close as possible to the start of term, but the sooner you apply the better.
If you're moving away from home to study with us, you'll need to find somewhere to live. Find out about how our accommodation team can help you find suitable accommodation near your chosen centre.
Contact Our Disability Support Service Team If Necessary
If you have a disability or learning difficulty, contact our Disability Support Service team as soon as you can so that we can work with you to help meet any tuition, technical, library or exam challenges before you start your course. You can contact them via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or call them on 01483 216657.
Learn about the support we can offer you through our Disability Support Service page and hear first-hand from students who have used our service.
