Jason O’Malley joins The University of Law as Director of Apprenticeships and New Business

The University of Law (ULaw), the largest and longest established provider of professional legal education, announces the appointment of Jason O’Malley as Director of Apprenticeships and New Business.

In his role, Jason will be responsible for driving new business engagement and development as well as further building ULaw’s apprenticeship offering across its centres in London, Birmingham, Bristol, Chester, Guildford, Manchester and Leeds.

Jason’s priorities will include a focus on the newly launched Trailblazer Solicitor and Paralegal Apprenticeships, an offering strengthened recently following ULaw’s collaborative partnership with Damar Training. Jason has 25 years of experience in legal practice and training, and will bring in-depth expertiseinto his new role. Prior to joining ULaw, he was Head of Learning and Development at Plexus Law and also worked as Director of Law Professional Development at BPP. Jason started his career in the legal profession as a solicitor and spent five years as a Partner at Berrymans Lace Mawer LLP (now BLM).
