The University of Law's GREAT China Scholarship winners

The University of Law has announced that four students from China have been awarded postgraduate scholarships for their strong academic credentials. The successful students are Xiaoyue Shen, Zhengxin Yin, Zhendong Wang and Chloe Qianzi Zeng.

This year, in partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign, The University of Law offered four merit-based scholarships worth £5,500 each to candidates from China wishing to study a postgraduate course commencing September 2018.

To encourage more Chinese students to study in the UK, the British Council, together with 31 UK universities, launched the GREAT Scholarships 2018 – China campaign. With 145 postgraduate scholarships on offer, the total value of the scholarship scheme is nearly £1 million.

The purpose of taking part in this China campaign is to help significantly grow the number of Chinese postgraduate students studying at The University of Law. It will also help to reinforce the important and relevant message that the UK continues to welcome international students that are wanting to develop their academic skills and receive a high-quality education.

With students from more than 100 different countries, ULaw prides itself in having a diverse student population and is eager to enhance internationalisation within the Legal environment.
