The University of Law appointed exclusive LPC provider by Howard Kennedy19 January 2017
The University of Law has been selected to act as exclusive Legal Practice Course (LPC) provider by law firm Howard Kennedy. As part of the new partnership, The University will provide legal training for the firm’s trainee solicitors starting in September 2017.
Howard Kennedy will recruit and provide sponsorship for eight trainee solicitors each year to undertake the LPC and benefit from the rigorous, practice-led legal education offered by the University. The University of Law’s course encourages trainees to think like practising solicitors from the start, with a focus on the business context in which clients operate, equipping trainees with the legal knowledge and professional skills to ensure Howard Kennedy’s clients achieve their personal and business objectives.
Howard Kennedy is an approachable, professional, responsive, commercial London based law firm that represents excellent value. Working alongside national and international clients across many disciplines, including banking, corporate and commercial, family, finance, employment, dispute resolution, intellectual property, private client, real estate and tax. Howard Kennedy has particular focus on Media and Entertainment, Real Estate, Retail and Leisure, Sports Individuals and Technology sectors, and, through HKOne, a legal concierge service for the individual. Its future trainee solicitors will be exposed to a diverse range of real-life opportunities to develop their professional legal knowledge in growing fields of practice.

It also recently launched new paralegal apprenticeship schemes with global law firms Freshfields and Hogan Lovells.
