We offer a Meet and Greet service for new international students arriving at London Heathrow, Birmingham and Manchester airports before the start of term. Student ambassadors will be at the airport to welcome you and help you to find the best transport for the final part of your journey.
How to register
The University will be providing airport pick-ups from 9am to 9pm on the following dates:
- London Heathrow: Saturday 2nd & Sunday 3rd September; Saturday 9th & Sunday 10th September; Saturday 23rd & Sunday 24th September
- Birmingham: Saturday 2nd September; Saturday 9th September; Saturday 23rd September
- Manchester: Saturday 2nd September; Saturday 9th September; Saturday 23rd September

Can I still use the Meet and Greet service if I’m travelling at a different day or to a different airport?
If you are landing on another day or at another airport, you will need to make your own travel arrangements to your accommodation.

How will I find the Meet and Greet team when I arrive at London Heathrow Airport?
We will have a dedicated meeting point in the arrivals area of Heathrow Terminal 3. You can meet us there once you have cleared passport control and collected your luggage. Our team will be holding ULaw signs and wearing ULaw t-shirts.
If you arrive at another terminal you can use the free Heathrow transit service to make your way to the meeting point in Terminal 3. Please note we are unable to meet students at any other terminals.
How will I find the Meet and Greet team when I arrive at Manchester Airport?
We will have a dedicated meeting point in the arrivals area of Terminal 2. You can meet us there once you have cleared passport control and collected your luggage. Our team will be holding ULaw signs and wearing ULaw t-shirts.
How will I find the Meet and Greet team when I arrive at Birmingham Airport?
We will have a dedicated meeting point in the arrivals area of Birmingham Airport. You can meet us there once you have cleared passport control and collected your luggage. Our team will be holding ULaw signs and wearing ULaw t-shirts.
Is the Meet and Greet Service available on any other dates/times?
This service is only available on the dates/times listed above.
What should I do if I need to make changes to my booking?

Please note there is a deadline to apply for the service, which is set one week before the arrival date. Depending on the demand, we may reduce the hours of the service.
