• Hill Dickinson Signs Exclusive Deal with College of Law, Manchester

    5 March 2009

Hill Dickinson has become the fifth national law firm to sign up to an exclusive Legal Practice Course with The College of Law, Manchester.

Trainees from Hill Dickinson will join those from Cobbetts, Halliwells, Pannone and Pinsent Masons to begin their LPC+ training in September at Manchester’s new College of Law.

The Hill Dickinson LPC+ will involve the firm’s partners, fee earners and business support professionals taking part in workshops and providing additional learning and networking opportunities for their future trainees. This will enable them to develop the necessary skills to meet the specific business needs of the firm as well as build relationships with future colleagues and create a solid support network.

Tricia Chatterton, regional director of the College, said: “We’re delighted that Hill Dickinson has confirmed its partnership with our new Manchester centre. The centre, which opens in September, has enabled us to cement key relationships with the major national law firms and we now have exclusive training deals with five of those firms in the North West. As a result, we will be training the city’s future legal professionals and making a real investment in the development of the business of the region.

“As the leading provider of professional training in law, we have an unrivalled reputation for the quality of our training, using a combination of state-of-the-art teaching methods and highly skilled and motivated teaching staff, and that is clearly recognised by these leading firms.”
